Electronic Communications Law
In Poland, the Telecommunications Law has been replaced by the Electronic Communications Law (ECL), and the new act implemented European directives: 2000/31/EC on electronic commerce and 2018/1972 establishing the European Electronic Communications Code (ECEC).
ECL comprehensively regulates broadly defined electronic communications activities, including telecommunications activities and the provision of publicly available interpersonal communication services that do not use numbers, as well as the rights and obligations of electronic communication entrepreneurs and end users.
